Hi! Thanks so much for stopping by! I’m Lauren, the floral artist behind PA Floral Preservation. I saw a gorgeous bouquet preservation on Pinterest when I was engaged, and thought, “Hey! I can do that!” So I pressed half of my wedding flowers between the pages of some heavy books while I was on my honeymoon. I came back to pages and pages of mold and no usable flowers! I was so devastated.
But then I opened up my fridge to find that my friends who had been house-sitting had put my bouquet in the fridge hoping to extend the life of it so that I might catch a few blooms When I came home.
With what was left, I promised to do some research and figure out how to press flowers properly. Since 2018 I have been constantly improving my technique and am now a full-time flower artist whose greatest joy is to see the look on Couple's faces when I return their bouquet art better than they could have hoped. Bouquet preservation is the perfect mix of artistry, science, and beauty and I have truly found my calling in it.
